November 3, 2022, 7:30 pm. Anne-Marie Oomen with be reading at Ludington Public Library, Ludington, MI. Visit Ludington Public Library for, “…[t]he story of one daughter’s journey to her mother’s heart.” Ludington Writers will host a talk with Anne-Marie Oomen, author of As Long as I Know You: The Mom Book, in Ludington Library’s West Shore Bank Room. As Long as I Know You is a winner of the Sue William Silverman Prize for Creative Non-Fiction. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy the book. Ludington Writers will provide refreshments. All programs and events at the library are free.

Writer Anne-Marie Oomen will be reading her poem “What Did you Do?” and other water-inspired poems at the River Arts Festival in Flint, MI for the River Arts and Culture Festival. Other artists participating are Ash Arder, Julia Christensen, Kassie Hyde, Dawn Roe, Dawn Roe, Sterling Toles, and Giizhigad, an Anishinaabe artist.

November 17-20, 2022 Anne-Marie Oomen will be teaching and reading at the Johnson County Library Writers Conference, November 17-20. She will instruct several classes, read from her award-winning book AS LONG AS I KNOW YOU: THE MOM BOOK, and offer discussion with other writers.
